About Greater Good Strategy:
Greater Good Strategy (GGS) is a woman-founded and woman- and nonbinary-led firm that partners with nonprofits, foundations, and social impact organizations to strengthen their communications, fundraising, and overall digital outreach. We’re a smart, approachable team rooted in relationships, with a passion for helping mission-driven organizations thrive.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative Sales Operations Manager to join our growing team. This role is key to keeping our business development and sales process moving smoothly and efficiently from initial client contact to signed proposals and beyond.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll power our sales process. You’ll work closely with our executive team (especially our CEO + Founder, Emily Goodstein) to coordinate, track, and improve our sales efforts. Specific responsibilities include:
- Sales Funnel Project Management
- Keep proposals and RFP responses moving through our internal review and approval process.
- Follow up with the executive team for input, edits, and decisions related to proposals.
- Ensure deadlines are met and all contributors are looped in at the right time.
- Coordinate with project teams on proposal drafts and updates.
- Client Meeting Support
- Attend business development and client check-in meetings.
- Take clear, concise notes and track follow-ups.
- Proposal + RFP Drafting
- Draft proposals and responses to RFPs based on templates, past examples, and client-specific information, sending polished versions to the executive team for their review.
- Collaborate with the executive and project teams to refine and finalize content.
- CRM + Sales Pipeline Management
- Maintain up-to-date records in HubSpot, our CRM.
- Track leads, notes, next steps, and follow-up tasks across the sales pipeline.
- System Improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve our sales processes and documentation.
- Implement new tools and systems that make our sales efforts more efficient and effective.
Who You Are:
- A strong communicator and writer with excellent organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy, especially with tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and HubSpot (or other CRMs).
- A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven — someone who doesn’t let anything slip through the cracks.
- Experienced in managing processes, tracking many moving parts, and keeping things on time.
- Excited to be part of a mission-driven team doing good in the world.
Compensation + Hours:
- $50/hour
- This is a part-time, contractor position for approximately 20 hours per week. These hours ebb and flow throughout the year. Flexibility in scheduling is welcome, though some availability during standard Eastern Time business hours is required.
- This position is a 3-month contract with an opportunity to extend.
