Ann CrowleySenior Strategist
Ann is a seasoned professional who brings over 25 years of nonprofit advocacy, fundraising, marketing, and movement building. Bringing her experience in multiplatform strategy for both off and online, Ann is a strategist, project manager, team leader, digital editor, and fundraising writer.
Ann started her work in the progressive space as a wee lass working alongside her mother at the polling site of a losing Democratic presidential candidate. Undaunted, Ann moved on to other campaigns and then landed at the Human Rights Campaign helping to bring about marriage equality, new Hate Crimes laws, and ending Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. In addition to upholding LGBTQ advances, Ann works on behalf of woman’s rights, the environment, racial justice, and building a healthy Latino community through community health clinics. Ann always tries to bring the ‘fun’ in fundraising.
Ann lives in Alexandria with her cat Quincy (named after John Quincy Adams). She volunteers at the local food bank, Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, and globally with Habitat for Humanity.
