LaTanya Lane is a writer + storyteller who believes compelling stories are the foundation of social change. She has worked with nonprofits to communicate their impact and inspire action. Through deep and active listening she crafts compelling copy to illustrate an organization's bold solutions to allies and supporters. Grounding her writing in a strategic content plan, her writing invites readers to act on their values.  

A graduate of both Lee University (BA) and Chicago Theological Seminary (MA), LaTanya has spent the past 20 years working for social change as a community organizer, non-profit program manager and director, facilitator and writer. She is a two-time alum of the Voices of our Nations Arts Writers Workshop, winner of the 2018 Diverse Worlds Grant from the Speculative Literature Foundation, and a company member with 2nd Story, a Chicago-based storytelling collective.

Outside of work, LaTanya can be found ice skating with friends, reading a good book,watching too much TV, or enjoying Chicago's many parks.
