Steph BlackSenior Strategist
Steph Black specializes in digestible, practical, and actionable digital strategy for non-profits and collectives. For seven years, she has been at the forefront of the abortion access and Jewish social justice movements, using social media, email marketing, peer-to-peer fundraising, and op-ed writing to accomplish the goals of the organizations for which she consults.
Steph was previously the Communications Specialist at the National Council of Jewish Women and is the Social Media Manager at Treatment Advocacy Center. She recently became the Manager of External Communications and Community Weaving at jGirls+ Magazine.
Steph is an activist, storyteller, and writer who believes that our words can change the world. Her bylines include articles in Rewire Magazine, a weekly column for The Progressive, Bustle, and The Advocate. Her truest passion lies in making abortion more accessible for those who need it most.
Steph majored in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at American University where she met her fiancée Hannah Ruth. They live together in Washington, DC. All typos can be attributed to their two cats, Goose and Prim.
