Jaya is an Oxford comma stan, an em dash believer, and a creator of compassionate, people-centered content. She sees clear, empathetic written communication as a powerful tool for influencing how people learn, act, and feel. Jaya specializes in content related to public health, health care, and other causes that seek to support people’s well-being.

As a health communication professional for 15+ years, Jaya has worked on every type of content out there: websites, apps, stories, blog posts, brochures, emails, job aids, posters, video scripts, eLearning courses, and more. She has a MA in Health Communication from UNC-Chapel Hill and a BA in Community Health from Brown University.

In her downtime, Jaya enjoys bopping around her hometown of Somerville, MA with her family and experiencing all of the playgrounds, festivals, and weird art the city has to offer.
