Marci has spent 20+ years in the marketing industry serving roles on both the client and agency sides of the business. Over the course of her career, she has developed a deep passion for uncovering consumer insights through various research techniques and using those insights to develop razor-sharp marketing plans that help her clients achieve their goals. Marci got her start in the big ad agencies of New York City working on iconic brands like Pepsi, Campbell’s Soup and Frito-Lay before moving to Washington, DC where she spent over a decade in the marketing department at the Discovery Channel. During her tenure at Discovery, Marci served as the Director of Consumer Marketing where she managed award-winning campaigns for some of the network’s highest rated programs including Shark Week, Deadliest Catch and Planet Earth.
More recently, Marci has applied her marketing expertise to the nonprofit and educational sectors and has found great personal fulfillment working with causes that are near and dear to her heart. When she’s not conducting focus groups or executing marketing campaigns, Marci can be found volunteering for various organizations within her community that involve her children’s boundless activities, like their neighborhood swim team or Jewish Day School (fun fact: Marci is the resident Middle School choreographer and still wishes she’ll make her way onto a Broadway stage someday).
She lives in the DC suburbs with her awesome husband, three incredible children and fluffy Labradoodle Teddy.
