Shelly Nelson-Shore (she/they) is a storyteller, strategist, fundraiser, and content creator with almost a decade of experience working creatively with nonprofits and individuals to help them achieve their goals. A firm believer in the power of good data and even better stories, Shelly supports her clients in creating stories, content, and campaigns that are simultaneously strategic and open-hearted, focused on building community and driving engagement.

In addition to her client work, Shelly is a bestselling novelist under the pen name Shelly Jay Shore. Her debut novel, Rules for Ghosting, was a USA Today bestseller and was named one of the New York Times Book Review’s Top Romances of 2024. Shelly’s writing on queer Jewish identity has also been published by Autostraddle, Hey Alma, and the Bisexual Resource Center. Her next book, Love Me Like a Rock Song, hits shelves in August 2026.
