Wendy’s love of research and ‘social media’ began in the1980s while working on the GEnie (GE’s online service) account. She admits that one of the most exciting purchases she ever made was the state-of-the-art 2400 baud dial-up modem (and she wishes she’d kept it!). For more than 25 years, she has worked across a wide variety of industries including non-profit, CPG, food, agriculture, pharmaceutical, technology, policy, apparel, appliances, healthcare. She deeply believes in the importance and value of social intelligence and guest lectures on the subject, having taught at New York University, University of Maryland, Towson University, George Mason University, Morgan State, University of Baltimore, University of Nebraska, among others. Pre-pandemic, she was on the road speaking at industry events and sharing why social intelligence is important, and where it is headed.
In February 2022, she was named as a Global Social Intelligence Insider 50 Pioneer.
