Motherhood Beyond Bars ensures a healthy start for infants born to incarcerated women through a support network for mothers and caregivers.
Goal
The Motherhood Beyond Bars (MBB) team needed to recruit new donors who were deeply invested in MBB's vision of a permanent end to cycles of incarceration in families.
Strategy
We designed and implemented an End-of-Year fundraising campaign that told the story of MBB's vital work and demonstrated how much more they could do with increased capacity.
Telling the Right Story
We focused on developing the most compelling story and sending it to the right audiences, with a result that nearly doubled their annual fundraising from the prior year.
Making Each Donation Special
We ensured each funder knew where every dollar would be used and how much further MBB would go with their support. Our campaign brought in more than 140 donors who contributed to MBB for the first time.
